Introduction


Brushless DC motors are developed on the basis of brushed DC motors. They have the advantages of stepless speed regulation, wide speed regulation range, strong overload capacity, 

good linearity, long life, small size, light weight, large output, etc., to solve It solves a series of problems of brushed motors and is widely used in various fields 

such as industrial equipment, instrumentation, household appliances, robots, and medical equipment. Since brushless motors do not have brushes for automatic commutation, 

an electronic commutator is required for commutation. The brushless DC motor driver implements the function of this electronic commutator.


There are currently three mainstream brushless DC motor control methods: square wave control (also known as trapezoidal wave control, 120° control, 6-step commutation control) 

and sine wave control, FOC (also known as vector frequency conversion, magnetic field vector directional control).

Product description


ACM6252 is a single-phase brushless motor driver IC with an external Hall sensor. The internal integrated motor control algorithm and current detection can control the single-phase brushless motor to rotate silently/efficiently based on the Hall signal. The internal integration of 4 MOS less than 500mΩ ensures excellent thermal performance under the condition of 1.2A current output. TSSOP-16 package, pin compatible with APX9230/M8121; the peripherals are extremely simple, less than 10 resistors and capacitors
